Upcoming Learning & Development Workshops
Many organizations reset their professional development budgets at the end of the calendar or fiscal year. If you have remaining funds—or if your team is planning ahead for early 2026—we invite you to join us for our upcoming public trainings:
Facilitating IDEAS Transformation is a full-day, practice-based sample session for anyone who facilitates conversations about inclusion, diversity, equity, access, and social justice (IDEAS)—whether you’re a trainer, people manager, HR/OD practitioner, ERG/committee lead, or simply the person others turn to when these topics come up. The session is organized into four 1.5-hour modules. During the January 23 showcase, we’ll move through all four modules: Modules 1 & 2 from 9:00 a.m.–12:30 p.m. (with a 15-minute break), a 90-minute lunch break, and Modules 3 & 4 from 2:00–5:30 p.m. (with a 15-minute break). This offering will be on a sliding scale starting at $100.

Across the four modules, participants will:

-
Module 1 – Understanding IDEAS Facilitation Through the Waters of Systems Change:
-
Build a systems-informed understanding of IDEAS/DEIJ facilitation using the Waters of Systems Change framework, and explore how facilitation can act as a lever to disrupt inequities and support organizational transformation.
-
-
Module 2 – Leading with Self-Awareness: Who We Are Shapes How We Facilitate:
-
Deepen self-awareness around identity and its impact on facilitation, recognize how who we are shapes how we show up in the room, and practice strategies to stay grounded in moments of tension, discomfort, or resistance.
-
-
Module 3 – Designing for IDEAS: Applying the 5P’s Framework:
-
Learn to design IDEAS-centered learning experiences using the 5P’s (Prework, Purpose, People, Product, Process) to create intentional structures that support equity, inclusion, and readiness for identity-based dynamics.
-
-
Module 4 – What We Practice and How We Show Up: Embodying IDEAS Facilitation:
-
Strengthen real-time facilitation skills through applied scenarios, role-play, and reflection, with a focus on navigating power dynamics, disentangling intent and impact, inviting multiple perspectives, and co-creating inclusive, transformative learning environments.
-
This training brings together practitioners from across the fields of mediation, facilitation, and IDEAS (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access, and Social Justice) work. Our goal is to build shared understanding, strengthen our skills for navigating difficult conversations, and explore how identity, power, and conflict intersect.
This is a pilot offering, and we’re excited to be running it for the first time. That also means we are still learning — and we know it won’t be perfect. We’re asking for your partnership not just in participating, but also in offering honest feedback to help us grow and improve this experience for future cohorts. We see this training as the starting point of something meaningful, and we’re grateful to build it alongside you.
This virtual training will take place over four half-day sessions on the following dates and times (Eastern Time):

Thursday, February 5 – 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Friday, February 6 – 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Thursday, February 19 – 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM
