For too long, outdated paradigms like 'us versus them' and one-off engagements have dampened the impact of IDEAS work. Based on insights from our dynamic community of next generation IDEAS leaders and consulting partnerships, we expand and deepen the IDEAS field through original content development and thought leadership. In so doing, we are infusing our sector with new voices, approaches, and perspectives to innovate how we build more IDEAS-centered organizations and communities around the globe.

With the help of writers, editors, designers, and thought partners sourced from our community, the IDEAS Generation team is proud to share our inaugural thought paper with you.

Entitled, IDEAS for the Future from Next-Gen Leaders, the report articulates why we use IDEAS (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Access, and Social Justice) as a framework to take traditional Diversity Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) work into the future and offers six themes through which leaders and organizations can innovate their DEI efforts.

Our hope is that this report:

  • Helps catalyze important conversations about IDEAS amongst not only formal diversity and inclusion professionals but also with advocates and champions of these principles in other contexts and professional areas

  • Serves as a knowledge and capacity building resource

  • Inspires diverse leaders of all generations to take action towards building a more inclusive, equitable, and just organizations
