My Story
Mikaela Adolphus, originally from Upland, California, is a dedicated advocate for positive
impact, education, and inclusivity. Currently pursuing a Master of Education at the University of
Missouri, Columbia, focusing on Positive Coaching and Athletic Leadership, she serves as the
Inclusive Excellence Graduate Assistant at Mizzou Athletics. Mikaela's commitment extends to
co-founding CADSA, a national nonprofit enhancing the Black student-athlete experience within
collegiate athletics.
Her journey began at the University of California, Davis, where she competed as a track and
field athlete, earning dual bachelor's degrees in African American and African studies and
Sociology. Mikaela showcased her expertise at Five9, serving as a Partner Marketing Manager
and a DE&I leader, recognized in the Channel Futures DE&I 101 list. Currently on the board of
Xposure, a nonprofit dedicated to DE&I development, Mikaela balances her professional life
with a passion for fitness and wellness. When not in the gym, she enjoys nature, family time,
and the company of her dog, Chance.
